MealGo Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided under the brand name Mealgo, operated by MealGo Ventures LLP, having its principal place of business in Gurugram, Haryana India. By placing an order, subscribing to a meal plan, or using our services in any manner (website, whatsapp, call or offline), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Business Identity

  • Brand Name: Mealgo
  • Legal Entity: MealGo Ventures LLP
  • Nature of Business: Preparation and delivery of freshly cooked meals, meal subscriptions, trial packs, corporate orders, and allied food services.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
  • By ordering, you confirm that the information provided by you is accurate and complete.

3. Services Offered

Mealgo offers:

  • Trial meal packs
  • Short-term and long-term meal subscriptions
  • Customised meal plans (diet-specific, calorie-based, or preference-based)
  • Corporate and bulk food orders

Services are provided on a best-effort basis and subject to availability of ingredients, kitchen capacity, and delivery feasibility.

4. Ordering & Subscription Policy

  • All orders must be placed through official Mealgo communication channels (website, WhatsApp, phone, or authorised platforms).
  • Subscriptions are time-bound and meal-count bound, whichever is earlier.
  • A subscription purchased for a specific duration (e.g., 7 days, 15 days, 30 days) must be completed within the maximum validity period i,e 45 days from date of purchase.
  • Unused meals do not carry forward indefinitely.

5. Subscription Validity & Completion

  • Trial packs must be consumed on consecutive days unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Monthly subscriptions must be completed within the extended grace period, if any, provided by Mealgo.
  • Mealgo reserves the legal and operational right to discontinue service for subscriptions not utilised within the communicated validity period.
  • No claims shall be entertained after the expiry of the validity period.

6. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are quoted in INR and are inclusive/exclusive of taxes as specified.
  • Prices may vary for trial packs, subscriptions, and customised meals.
  • Payments must be made 100% in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Mealgo reserves the right to revise pricing without prior notice. Existing paid subscriptions will not be affected.

7. Refunds & Cancellation Policy

All refunds and cancellations shall be governed strictly as per the applicable Mealgo (Freshlife Bites) policies in force at the time of purchase.

  • All meal plans, subscriptions, trial packs, and orders are subject to their respective refund and cancellation policies as communicated at the time of purchase, on the website, invoice, WhatsApp communication, or any official Mealgo platform.
  • Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, all subscriptions and orders are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Once an order or subscription is confirmed, cancellation requests will not be entertained.
  • Refunds, if applicable under a specific policy, shall be processed only at the sole discretion of Mealgo and within a reasonable timeline.
  • No refund shall be issued for:
    • Meals skipped without prior notice
    • Unused meals after subscription validity expiry
    • Taste preferences or subjective dissatisfaction
    • Delays caused by third-party delivery partners
  • Any approved refund shall be limited to the value of the undelivered meal(s) only and shall not include ancillary charges.

By proceeding with a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to abide by the refund and cancellation policy applicable to their specific plan.

8. Pause, Skip & Rescheduling Policy

  • Pause or rescheduling requests must be informed at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Same-day pause or changes will not be accepted.
  • Meals skipped without prior notice will be considered consumed.
  • Extended pauses may impact subscription validity.

9. Delivery Policy

  • Delivery timelines are estimated and may vary due to traffic, weather, or operational issues.
  • Mealgo is not liable for delays caused by third-party delivery partners.
  • Customers must ensure availability at the delivery location.
  • If delivery is marked successful by the delivery partner, it will be treated as delivered.

10. Non-Delivery & Disputes

  • Any non-delivery complaint must be raised within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery time.
  • Complaints raised after this period may not be entertained.
  • Mealgo reserves the right to investigate before offering any resolution.

11. Meal Customisation & Allergies

  • Meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles multiple ingredients.
  • Mealgo does not guarantee an allergen-free environment.
  • Customers are responsible for informing Mealgo of any allergies or intolerances.
  • Taste preferences are subjective and not grounds for refunds.

12. Quality & Consumption

  • Meals are prepared fresh and are intended for consumption on the same day.
  • Mealgo is not responsible for quality issues arising from delayed consumption, improper storage, or reheating methods.

13. Force Majeure

Mealgo shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemic-related disruptions
  • Supply chain failures

14. Intellectual Property

  • All content, brand names, logos, meal plans, and materials are the intellectual property of Freshlife Bites.
  • No part may be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

  • Mealgo’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the value of the meal for the day in dispute.
  • Under no circumstances shall Mealgo be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

16. Termination of Service

Mealgo reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service
  • Terminate subscriptions
  • Deny future orders in cases of misuse, abusive behaviour, false claims, or policy violations.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
  • Courts of Gurgaon, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

18. Amendments

Mealgo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms will be effective immediately upon publication.
