  • Data Processor: Any third party that processes personal data on behalf of MealGo.
  • Consent: Freely given, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous indication of the Data Principal’s agreement.

  • Delivery address

b) Order & Account Information

  • Meal subscriptions and order history
  • Dietary preferences voluntarily provided
  • Customer support communications

c) Technical & Usage Data

  • IP address
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • App usage patterns
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

Note: MealGo does not collect or store sensitive personal data such as financial passwords, biometric data, or health records. Payment information is handled securely by authorized payment gateways.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Your personal data is processed for lawful purposes including:

  • Providing and managing meal subscriptions and deliveries
  • Processing payments and issuing refunds
  • Customer communication and service support
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

MealGo does not sell or commercially exploit personal data.

All Data Processors are contractually obligated to:

  • Process data only for authorized purposes

MealGo follows reasonable security practices as mandated under the IT Act and DPDP Act, including:

  • Secure servers and encrypted connections
  • Restricted access to personal data
  • Regular security audits and internal controls

Despite best efforts, no digital system is entirely secure. MealGo shall not be liable for breaches caused by factors beyond reasonable control.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes or comply with legal obligations.
  • Upon withdrawal of consent or completion of purpose, data is:
    • Deleted, or
    • Anonymized, unless retention is required by law.

  • Request erasure of personal data (subject to legal retention)

12. Grievance Redressal Officer

In accordance with the IT Act and DPDP Act, MealGo has appointed a Grievance Officer.

13. Policy Updates

MealGo reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to remain compliant with legal requirements. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the website or app.

Continued use of MealGo services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.
