Effective Date: 01/01/2026

MealGo Ventures LLP (brand name Mealgo) prepares fresh meals daily based on advance procurement, kitchen planning, and delivery schedules. By purchasing a MealGo subscription or placing an order, customers agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Definitions

  • Subscription Start Date: The first scheduled day of meal delivery under a purchased subscription.

  • Unused / Unutilized Meals: Meals that have not been prepared, packed, dispatched, or consumed.

  • Remaining Subscription Value: Monetary value of unused meals at the time of cancellation.

  • MealGo Credits: Refund value credited to the customer’s MealGo account for future use.

  • Business Days: Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

2. General Policy Principles

  • Meals already prepared, packed, dispatched, or consumed are non-refundable.

  • Refunds apply only to unused meals, subject to deduction slabs.

3.2 Refund Eligibility & Deduction Structure

Refunds, if applicable, are calculated on the remaining unutilized subscription value as per the following slabs:

  • Before Start Date:
    100% refund

  • Day 1 to Day 15 after Start Date:
    30% deduction

  • Day 16 to Day 30 after Start Date:
    → 50% deduction

  • After Day 30:
    No refund

Example:
Remaining value = ₹1,000
• Cancel on Day 10 → Refund = ₹700
• Cancel on Day 20 → Refund = ₹500

No Refund under any case will be provided for trial meals.

3.3 Non-Refundable Meals

  • Any meal that has been prepared, packed, dispatched, or delivered at the time of cancellation is strictly non-refundable.

  • Trial Meals

3.4 Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued as:

    • MealGo Credits (default), or

    • Original mode of payment, subject to feasibility.

  • MealGo Credits are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance unless stated otherwise.

3.5 Non-Transferability

  • Cancelled subscriptions, refunds, or unused meals:

    • Cannot be transferred to another individual

    • Cannot be sold, gifted, or carried forward to future plans

4. Midway Cancellations

  • Midway cancellation refers to cancelling an active subscription after deliveries have begun.

  • Customers are not eligible for a full refund.

  • Partial refunds apply strictly as per the deduction slabs mentioned in Section 3.2.

  • The deduction already accounts for administrative, procurement, and handling costs.
